Ah you know it's panto season when those old jokes come out!
I'm off to see my friends school panto on Wednesday, she's a form tutor so we're going to go and cheer on her pupils. I've been in a fair few pantos meself so I'm a seasonsed pro at the old 'booo', 'he's behind you' kinda deal. In fact it's a little known fact that I was nominated for a Calor Gas Pantomine Award in I think, 1997, for Best Comedy Song. I didn't win of course but hey, me? Song? On stage? Mwaha!
Well a little update I guess as it's been a while. As December comes into full swing I've done most of my present shopping (ok I'm a cheat, I did most of it on the net) but it's not the shopping that does me head it's the wrapping. Eek, trying to make it look nice only to be ripped off and given to the cat the play with? Bah. But yeah, fingers crossed everyone likes what I have got them. It'll be a bit different this year without grandad at the head of the dinner table but I'm going to make sure gran has a nice day cos she's a bloomin star to me.
Went out for the work's Xmas 'do' on Friday night to Jethro's Club. For those who don't know Jethro is a Cornish comedian who is relatively famous for his appearances on Des O'Connor back in the nineties. Anyways, it was a good night as the pics below show but a hangover after free champagne is not to be treated to a hockey match at 10am the next day. :-(

Nothing beats a drunken works do.
We had ours at a hotel with another company (or so we thought). Although the "other company" were very old. They only turned out to be a oldies dating agency! Ooo the fun we had, dancing in between these 80yr olds!
