Are we nearly there yet?
Cannot believe September is getting closer, all those kids going back to school, all those kids starting school. To be honest, all I remember about my first day at primary school was the sand pit. And secondary school? The booster injections! I have to say I do miss school days, at the time they all say its the happiest days of you life, and looking back I know they're right.
One of the funniest moments at my school was when Laura's can of hair mousse exploded in her bag during history. But because we had a doddery old man for our teacher he didn't understand and wouldn't let her leave the class to sort it. So, all the time he was talking all we could see was Laura's bag slowly opening itself with all this white mousse oozing out of every compartment. Next thing we knew there's Laura crawling on all fours underneath the table whispering 'do you want any mousse? Please take some of my mousse!'
It must have been hilarious for the unsuspecting teacher to turn his back only to see the 6 girls at the back of the class with slicked down, cripsy moussed hair all of sudden!
Apart from me aimlessly walking down memory lane, its been a quiet week. Grandad's had his own problems and is back in hospital again, but its one big cover up if you ask me. It says on his report that my Gran was 'incompetent' of replacing his feeding tube at night time - when the real truth was that the head nurse gave her the incorrect equipment! Then, strangely, the report which said the head nurse had given the wrong equipment has gone 'missing'.
I think a strongly worded letter may be due.
